Learn how to use every feature of the MushroomOps farm management app — from daily logging to AI-powered analytics.
Getting Started
Welcome to MushroomOps — a complete farm management tool for mushroom cultivation operations.
First-Time Setup
Download the MushroomOps app from the Google Play Store or visit mushroomops.com on your browser.
Sign up with your email and password. The first user automatically becomes the Farm Admin.
Set up your Company Name and Crate Weight in Settings > Company Control.
Add your Facilities (bunkers, tunnels, rooms, platforms, lagoons) in Settings > Facilities.
Configure Phases for your compost, tunnel, and room workflows in Settings > Phases.
Create your first Lot in Settings > Lots to start tracking a compost batch.
Invite team members via Settings > Company Users or Team Management.
Tip: MushroomOps works offline. You can enter data even without internet — it will sync automatically when connectivity returns.
Dashboard All Roles
The Dashboard gives you a real-time overview of your farm's status at a glance.
Active Facilities: See which bunkers, tunnels, and rooms are currently in use.
Lot Status: Track active lots and their current phase in the production cycle.
Recent Alerts: View any flagged entries or environmental warnings.
Harvest Summary: Quick look at recent production numbers.
Daily Logs Overview All Roles
The Logs section is the core of MushroomOps. Workers and managers use these screens to record daily operational data. All log types are accessible from the sidebar under the Logs section.
Each log form supports photo attachments — tap the camera icon to capture evidence directly from your device.
Compost Mixing Logs
Record the ingredients and proportions used when preparing a new compost batch.
Select the Lot and Facility where mixing occurs.
Enter ingredients: straw, chicken manure, gypsum, urea, and other additives.
The app calculates nitrogen ratios automatically based on your inputs.
Add notes and attach photos of the compost preparation.
Compost Status Logs
Track the ongoing condition of compost batches as they progress through phases.
Record compost temperature, age (days), and current location.
Note any aeration adjustments or turning operations performed.
Monitor trends over time to ensure optimal decomposition.
Casing Prep Logs
Log the preparation of casing material before it's applied to compost beds.
Record cocopeat quantity and number of washes performed.
Enter water TDS readings to ensure quality standards are met.
Track treatment chemicals or additives applied to the casing.
Room Status Logs
Monitor environmental conditions in your growing rooms.
Record room temperature, bag/bed temperature, humidity, and CO₂ levels.
Log any disease observations with type, severity, and treatment applied.
Attach photos of disease symptoms for tracking and AI analysis.
Notes field for any additional observations or actions taken.
Harvest / Production Logs
Record daily mushroom harvests for each worker and room.
Select the worker, room, and harvest date.
Enter mushroom grade (A, B, C, etc.), container count, and total weight.
Production data feeds into reports for yield analysis and worker performance tracking.
Quality Inspection
Grade mushroom batches using standardized quality metrics.
Score visual attributes: whiteness, redness, and blotch on a defined scale.
Measure physical attributes: cap diameter, stem height, and piece weight.
Take inspection photos that are linked to the quality record.
Data feeds into quality trend reports for continuous improvement.
Daily Dispatch
Log outgoing shipments from the farm to buyers and markets.
Record dispatch date/time, destination (mandi/buyer), and vehicle number.
Enter total weight and grade breakdown per shipment.
Track inventory deductions automatically when dispatches are logged.
Reports Admin / Manager
Reports provide aggregated views of your farm data. Access them from the Reports section in the sidebar.
Available Reports
Overview: High-level summary of farm operations across all departments.
Production Report: Harvest yield trends, grade distribution, and worker output.
Compost Lots: Track each lot from mixing through spawning — temperature curves, phase durations, and outcomes.
Rooms: Room-by-room environmental data, disease incidence, and yield correlation.
Dispatch & Quality: Shipment history, quality scores over time, and buyer distribution.
Tip: Use the date range filter on each report to focus on specific periods. Reports can be exported as CSV from Settings > Import/Export.
AI Features Admin Only
MushroomOps includes optional AI-powered analysis to help you make better farm decisions.
AI Analyst
Generate comprehensive insights from your room and compost data. The AI analyzes environmental trends, disease patterns, and production metrics to provide actionable recommendations. Reports are available in English and Hindi.
Insights Inbox
Review AI-generated alerts and recommendations. The inbox collects analysis results so you can review them at your convenience.
Ask AI
Chat directly with the farm AI assistant. Ask questions about your operations, get advice on compost ratios, disease treatment, or environmental optimization.
AI Setup
Go to Settings > AI to configure your AI provider.
Choose a provider: Google Gemini, OpenAI, or Cloud Ollama (self-hosted).
Enter your API key and endpoint URL as required.
AI features will become active once the provider is configured.
Note: AI analysis sends your operational data (temperatures, CO₂ levels, disease observations, etc.) to the configured AI provider for processing. No personal data is included. You can disable AI features at any time by removing the API key.
Settings & Administration Admin Only
Most settings require Admin access. Workers can only access Appearance and Log Dropdowns.
Appearance
Switch between Light, Dark, or System theme. The setting is saved locally on your device.
Company Control
Edit your company name and set the standard crate weight used for harvest calculations.
Company Users
View all team members, promote users to Admin or Manager, or revoke access. Each user is tied to a role that controls what they can see and do.
Team Management
Quickly create new worker or manager accounts from within the app without them needing to sign up separately.
Facilities
Add, rename, or archive facilities. Facility types include: Bunker, Tunnel, Room, Platform, and Lagoon.
Phases
Define the production phases for each category (compost, tunnel, room). Phases determine the workflow progression of each lot.
Lot Linking
Manually adjust the active lot-to-facility association when automatic tracking needs correction.
Data Editor
Edit recent log entries directly within a 2-day window. Older records are locked to preserve data integrity.
Import / Export
Export your farm data as CSV or JSON files. Download attached images as a ZIP archive. Useful for backups and external analysis.
Log Dropdowns
Manage the dropdown values that appear in log forms: worker names, medicine names, disease types, and dispatch destinations.
Lots
Create new lots (compost batches) and review their current status, active phase, and facility location.
Offline Mode
MushroomOps is designed for farms with unreliable internet connectivity.
You can enter all log data, take photos, and navigate the app without an internet connection.
Data is stored securely on your device until connectivity is restored.
When you go back online, the app automatically syncs all pending data to the server.
Synced data is then available to all team members and in reports.
Tip: If you notice data not appearing for other users, check your internet connection and wait for the sync indicator to complete.
Roles & Permissions
MushroomOps uses role-based access control to ensure each team member sees only what they need.
